Leave tonight on an overnight jet flight for Warsaw (flight not included).
Upon arrival, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Tonight, your Tour Director is hosting a welcome reception and will introduce you to your fellow travelers.
Your sightseeing tour includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the Barbican. Continue with the walking tour of the Old Town, The Old Market Square, and St. John’s Cathedral. Next, you visit a chocolate factory, for a tour and some sampling. You can taste hot chocolate, cocoa beans, and three different kinds of chocolate bars. Use the balance of the day for shopping.

After breakfast, we set out for Krakow. On the way, we stop in Czestochowa, known for the blackened picture of St. Mary in the Jasna Gora monastery, popularly called the "Black Madonna." In the afternoon we drive to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, site of the infamous concentration camp. We continue to Krakow for dinner and overnight.
Wawel Hill, Royal Cathedral, St. Mary’s Church, the Renaissance Cloth Hall, and other historic landmarks are included on our morning city sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free for strolling about the city. During our tour, we stop to taste Polish vodka and learn about Polish traditions and culture.
Optional tour: Pierogi making class.
We drive to Poznan, and en-route, we stop in Wroclaw, a city built on 12 islands, for a visit to the oldest part of town. Upon arrival in Poznan, we visit a local brewery and participate in some beer tasting. The rest of the day is at leisure.
After breakfast, we peer into the heart of Poznan by walking around the Imperial Castle. We continue with a visit to the Gothic Cathedral on the island of Ostrow Tumski. Next, we cross the Chrobry Bridge to enter the splendid Old Town with its famous Renaissance Town Hall, now housing the Historic Museum. We end our tour at the Freedom Square. This afternoon, we travel to Gdansk with a stop in Torun, the birthplace of famous astronomer Nicholas Copernicus.
This morning begins with a half-day tour. We see the Long Market with its restored townhouses, the Fountain of Neptune the Upland Gate, the Golden Gate, the Coal Market, the Dluga Street and finally the Solidarity Square. Our next stop is at the largest gothic church in the world made of bricks: St. Mary's church. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner.
Optional tour: Visit to the Malbork castle
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your home-bound flight.
